Election Day

http://dorchestervotes.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/American-Flag-5-640x250.jpg
Today is Election Day in the United States. As an American, it's a great privilege to be able to vote. The past couple months I've been keeping an eye on what's going on in politics and making sure I make the right choices once I cast my ballot.

Once I woke up this morning, the first thing I did was get dressed and went to go cast my ballot. It was quick and easy. If your an American whose eligible to vote, I recommend you go and do it. Your vote counts!

My Halloween

Happy (late) Halloween everybody! I celebrated by throwing a creepy haunted house with friends. I played a crazy patient that escaped an asylum. I scream from the top of my lungs contiguously. I'm quite the actress you know. It was so much fun. I love Halloween!

As for my Stardoll costume, I decided to be someone historic. Once I put my costume on someone thought I was portraying artist Frida Kahlo and an other thought I was just a creepy teacher, but for those fashion lovers out there,  you would realized I was actually Coco Chanel.

The Haunting Of Ophelia

A Halloween story behind a look created by Ophelia_Smith:

Ophelia was a ordinary girl from the 19th century. She loved to paint and play piano. Her family was the richest in their little town called Fell's Church. One day she really wanted to see the whole family's propriety. She walked about 2 hours when she arrived at the family's pond. Since then nobody has seen her... from 50 to 50 years she comes back on October 24th and haunts the people from her town until October 31st...the last time when she was seen in the town was 50 years ago.....

If you have a look that has a story behind it, feel free to tell me about it. I love hearing them. I also might even feature your story on here.

Style Defines Glamour

Style_Magazine looks glamorous in the recently released Hot Buys faux fur bolero. The hot item is on sale in the Volie shop for 13 stardollars. Faux fur is diffidently a major trend this season. The bolero is originally from Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture Fall Winter 2011 collection.

As for Style, she completely made a statement with using the bolero for her compete look.  The jewelry, shoes, and dress are just exactly what make's this look absolute perfection. This is something I'll love to see for this year's Star Awards.

Donna Magazine was released today and I gotta say I really loved the whole issue. The cover, the articles, and the graphics all fit really well together. The magazine is about Fall fashion. From must-haves, to styled looks, and make-up.  .Marcela.. looked stunning on the cover. She diffidently worked the beautiful lavish Dior gown and had a amazing inspirational interview. I enjoyed the "Key Trends" article. The five trends they discussed were something that were seeing this Fall.

Overall I give this issue a star rating of 4/5!!

The Long-view Trend

Timeless. Only a one of many words that can describe how beautiful this look truly is.  This Chanel inspired look capture the "long-view" trend we've been seeing this season. Which can work both by dressing it up or dressing it down. In this particular instance, Hay_lin75 decided to dressed it up with the more glamorous approach.

Fierce Warrior

I'm usually the type of person who likes to play it safe when it comes to my real life style, but in Stardoll I love experimenting with different daring looks. When I create these looks, I like to have a story behind it. Sometimes there funny, dramatic, or even just plain crazy!

This look in particular is about a ancient warrior who fights herself out of a rumble of debris after a lost battle. The black crow symbolize death, a warning that the warrior is coming for vengeance for her fallen warriors.

New Outlook

Throughout my years in Stardoll, I've done things that you wouldn't ordinary do in the real world. Like run an award show or produced a magazine. People wonder why we dedicate so much time and effort just for a virtual website. They assume we have no life.

Welcome

Welcome to my new blog!

This blog will share Stardoll news, reviews, interviews, and will feature many fashion segments. I will also be doing a couple of personal posts about experiences I've had on Stardoll (good & bad), more like a "blast from the past" type of thing.

I'm not looking for any writers right now. I want to try it out on my own and see how it goes. I'm really excited about this blog, and I'm very committed to it. So please become a follower and get ready!
